Meeting notes/minutes

Imagine a meeting where the most senior individual takes notes/minutes. And then directly shares actions with all attendees for follow through.

Imagine what the follow through on actions will be like.

Stop imagining. Try it.

The next meeting you’re tempted to look around for the newest individual, the youngest individual, the secretary, the lady, the one that will not (or cannot) complain, the one that articulates well. Choose yourself.

Afterall, the qualities of the individual that takes good notes/minutes are well aligned with the qualities of a good leader.

A reflection

One of the most humbling reflections is the realisation that all the people you currently see, will not be here in 150 years time. Including you and I.

All you see will be remarkably different in that time. Including humanity.

The future will not accurately remember 99% of all you see. And the memorable 1%, will be remembered with biased stories.

What are you doing that will outlive you and tell your story, as you will like it to be heard, read or seen?

I write, daily. Try it.

A prayer

John 16:23-24
In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father, he will give it to you in my name.
Hitherto you have asked nothing in my name; ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

Homily:

Dear Father, please grant me the grace to truly love You, myself and my neighbour, in the name of Jesus, your Son and my Lord.
