Some teachings I have tested and found to be true and enduring.
- Clutter reduction rules. In health, wealth, spirituality or creativity, when we choose to make progress, we reduce clutter. Clutter that was brought in by us in the first place.
- If it is important, write it down. All the gods that had no scribes no longer exist.
- We are perfectly designed for our circumstances. No excuses, take responsibility.
- First impressions matter. Not all that matters is true.
- Give. Nature abhors a vacuum, it typically overfills the space created from giving.
- Master the art of asking. We get what we ask for.
- Hide only what you want to be found. All true secrets are in the open for all to see.
- I do not know enough to judge another human. There are just too many variables that drives their decision making.
- Most of the words we remember from what people say, was not said to be remembered. Pay attention to your words.
- We are all replaceable. In time and space, yes. In magnitude and direction, no.
- There is a thing line between swelling and growth. It depends on where your nose is – “in the air” or “on the grindstone”.
- “In economics, things take longer to happen than you think they will, and then they happen faster than you thought they could.” – Rudiger Dornbusch. If you replace “economics” with “life” in the quote, you will still be right.
- “Where” and “with whom” has defined more success stories, than “why”, “how” or “what”. “Where” and “with whom” comes with a very healthy dose of luck.
