The path is not the goal

You can neither take all paths nor know which one holds all your desires.

You must choose a path. Every path brings the end closer.

There is no one that does not wonder what alternative paths could have brought. Some just understand that it is not the path that was the goal, but who you become by taking the walk.

You can apply your genius to any path, it is just easier on some paths.

Whatever path you’re on, find ways to apply your genius. No excuses. Take responsibility.

Whatever path you’re on, march on – fight, hold hands, dance, laugh, reflect, cry, resist, rest, run, be still. Keep going.

The path is not the goal. You are.

The door

Luke 14:12-14
He said also to the man who had invited him, “When you give a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your kintransactional relationships.nnnsmen or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return, and you be repaid.
But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. You will be repaid at the resurrection of the just.”

Homily:

There are people in the world that need what you have. Find them.

Not echo chambers, but void spaces that need filling.

Leave the mirror, you have seen enough of yourself, see others too.
Use the door, go outside, see the world, someone needs you.

I commit to prioritising loving relationships above transactional relationships.
