It is a dangerous thing to keep listening to the same people and growing a tribe of those that only listen to those same people.
No matter how correct people are, there is an opposing view that is correct sometimes.
By all means, take a stand, but do not ever trade away your independence of thought.
And if at any point you disagree with the crowd you’re in, yet cannot speak up, because dissent is fatal, slowly withdraw for your own good.
No crowd should drown your voice. If anything, crowds are there to amplify your voice.
Mind the message your voice is being used to amplify. Avoid replacing a message with a messenger. Humans come with more baggage than you can carry.
That a human says something that resonates or does not resonate with you, does not say anything about that human. It says something about you and the message.
Most errors in discernment occur when we see a message and the messenger as one.
