A knife does not cut itself. It is used by others on others, with no personal responsibility for its actions.
The same is true for humans with no self-awareness or consciousness. Like knives, they do not see their role in circumstances and see themselves as just tools being used.
This is why feedback is important, especially one that either causes a storm or complete stillness within you.
You can either see it as a mirror to see and improve self or see it as an attempt to use you as a tool.
However you see it, life will reward you disproportionately depending on how you grow or how you swell with feedback.
