Random thoughts on a random walk

Love
When we remember those we love, they live.
They come and fill the space within, evidenced by displaced tears.
Death is needle point that pricks us to focus on what is most important.

A sign
One of the ways I knew people had returned to normal after Ebola was with the exchange of peace (or sign of peace) returning to mass.
I will look out for it as a sign of return to normal after Covid-19.
When people get back to handshakes and hugs during mass, I will know that once again, nothing keeps humans from physical touch for long.

Kindness, hacked
It is hard to hate a person that has been kind to you.
Politicians understand this better than most.
A little act of kindness here and there brings an avalanche of eulogies to otherwise despicable people.
