Whenever I think about the above words, I reflect deeply on my convictions.
Strong convictions enable us to build the courage to act, yet it needs to be balanced with the humility to reflect on feedback from reality.
It is a delicate balance.
It is easier to see the folly in another’s strongly held convictions than our own, which is why it is only logical to assume it is easier for other’s to see our own folly.
This logic helps us to be more open to learning from another’s standpoint, instead of assuming our beliefs are airtight.
There are always alternatives to our chosen paths.
We become limited when we believe the path we see is the only path there is.
