1 Thessalonians 5:1
But as to the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need to have anything written to you.
Homily:
No one notices all that the present teaches.
No one knows all that the past holds.
How do you then expect anyone to know what the future brings?
When it comes to predicting the future, at their best, people are guessing; and at their worst, people are being manipulative.
Doing your best in the present is the only way to shape the past, and prepare for whatever the future brings.
