2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow about his promise as some count slowness, but is forbearing toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
Homily:
Love is patient. It waits. Always hoping for reconciliation above all else.
If judgment is passed as swiftly as we act, who will survive.
Dear Lord, I pray that I am also patient with those you put in my care.
