Today, I was in over my head with a task, and only one name came up. I thought to call, but I knew he would be in a meeting at the time. So I sent a message – “Please call when you’re free and in a private place. I have a grey area that needs your colour.”
He called back immediately. We had a 3 minutes conversation, and he promised to offer a longer take after his meeting.
He called again immediately after his meeting, but his earlier call was all the activation energy I needed. I was already well on the path of what needed to be done.
I am thankful for friends that add colour to grey areas.
