What is natural takes time.
What is unnatural happens in no time.
The selling point of the unnatural is the shortening of time.
In meditation – get calm quick.
In pleasure – get high quick.
In wealth – get rich quick.
In health – get fit quick.
You get there quick, and start trying to figure out what to do next. That is when the dip arrives, and you plunge into a deeper hole than the rut you thought you were in.
That dip is where the profits are for the salesmen of quick fixes.
In whatever you want, it is better to ask, “what is the slowest way to achieve this?” If you do not have the time to go slowly, don’t go at all.
