Today, I got several calls from an associate while I was on a call with a Supplier. I had to get off the call, knowing that such a high frequency of calls meant there was something wrong.
Before returning the call, I did a quick check on my messages. Asynchronous messages help with emergency management.
There were a series of messages explaining the reason for the calls. I calmed down. The situation was already under control. I put a call through, while taking a walk to see things for myself.
My associate handled things just as I would have.
I am thankful for dependable people that act decisively, independent of me.
