Conversations

Today, I felt a deep unhappiness. It came from nowhere, and like it came, it passed to nowhere.

It got me a little worried, and I shared it with a trusted confidante.

Talking about it unearthed the root of it.

I am not able to immediately address the problem, but clearly articulating what it is, has brought me peace. Sometimes it is not the solving of a problem that brings calm, but knowing it by name.

I am thankful for conversations that illuminate.

Limits

Limits exist to be tested.
Sooner or later they are tested.
Tested limits ultimately yield, birthing new limits.
New limits require new tests.

Society progresses one test at a time.
Society is contained by the limits not tested.
No generation has the span to test all limits.
Each generation tests the limit that defines it.

What limit are you testing?
