Fruits

Today, I was called to stand in the gap for a friend who was getting quite jaded from back-to-back runs of illnesses.

It is hard to find the right words when a friend is going through untold pain.

So I brought back a shared memory from a time we were very naive about life. He remembered the time more vividly than I did, and somehow had kept track of how everyone in the circumstance turned out. There was lots of laughter, and for a while, we forgot the present circumstance.

Then we came to a conclusion that this too will pass, and we will have a good laugh at the memory, as we face new questions from life.

I am thankful for fruits of joy from vineyards of chaos.
