Today, I listened to a friend describe anger as the worst form of incapacitating intoxication.
A few minutes later he was incapacitated by the same intoxication.
At the end of his outburst, we looked at each other and burst into laughter. Everyone, including the guy he was angry with, could not figure out the trigger for such a swing. But we understood.
Knowing a pitfall does not stop us from falling into it, but realising you have fallen is a first step to getting back up.
I am thankful for moments of immediate feedback from life.
