Today, I got a message from an old friend.
He was my class representative in University. An all-round great guy. He was so active in so many projects in school, I wondered if he got any rest.
He called me for my first aptitude test, straight out of graduation, which ultimately became my first job.
He routinely keeps in touch, giving me healthy doses of guilt for not reciprocating.
He asked for a favour today. First time in 21 years. I came through without thinking. Friends like him should never even have to ask.
I am thankful for the beautiful souls I am blessed with.
