Old, Cold

The older you get, the colder you get.

Fire sparked at birth, fuelled by youth, flickering with age, is extinguished by death.

Other sparks can be lit, if your heart can still carry risk.

Birth a new project, a new adventure, a new “it.”

Commune with the young, channel their energy.

Take a leap of faith and laugh as it offers anxiety.

The older you get, the colder you get.

Pay attention to the cold. Treat it as a cue to light a new spark.
