I have noticed that alumni group behaviour is frozen at the age the people were when they connected.
It does not matter the age they currently are.
Engagement on my secondary school alumni group is a lot less measured than my university alumni group.
People act less controlled in what they share, and people are more forgiving there.
People in the secondary school alumni group are more likely to contribute funds for meetups and fun hangouts, while in the university group, we more likely contribute towards weddings and burials.
I do not engage actively in either group, but I enjoy the entertainment of the secondary school group more.
