Turbulence

The turbulence today was the type that makes you reflect on whether you’ve done enough to make heaven.

Even the air hostess stopped her announcement of “wear your seatbelts” halfway; she had to hold on for dear life.

The good thing about flights is that you must embrace the turbulence—fearfully or with wanton abandon—and wait for it to pass. Every other option is fatal.
