Typo

A typo or grammatical error in a good book is like a stone in sweet Nigerian jollof rice.

Nothing prepares you for it; a jarring experience that makes you recoil in discomfort.

From that point on, you tread carefully, and the joy of losing yourself in the experience is lost. You begin to seek the next flaw instead of the next high.

Editing, like sifting, is a critical part of crafting an enjoyable book. Be painstaking.
