Emotions

Every emotion is here to serve or enslave, depending on our acceptance or resistance of its utility.

Take a journey with me through six basic emotions: joy, sadness, fear, anger, surprise, and disgust.

Joy serves by making life worth living but enslaves by making us chase happiness instead of meaning.

Sadness serves by teaching us what matters but enslaves by convincing us that nothing matters.

Fear serves by keeping us alive but enslaves by keeping us from truly living.

Anger serves by fueling justice but enslaves by becoming the fire that burns down everything we care about.

Surprise serves by keeping us curious but enslaves by making us addicted to the next shiny thing.

Disgust serves by protecting our boundaries but enslaves by building walls where we need bridges.

Let your emotions serve you.
