All that is probable is not all that is possible.
Build competency to meet the probable.

You set the deadlines for everything in your life—your career, your goals, your ambitions, and even on others.
You rush, you plan, you push, you chase, the next milestone, the next achievement, the next big thing.
But there is one deadline you do not control, one that is set without your input—the deadline of your life itself.
And in the grand scheme of things, that is the only deadline that truly matters.
Calm down and smell the roses.

A voice is not just the sound of a thing. It is the signature of a thing.
There’s a game where a boss is deliberately blindsided and asked to guess the name of each teammate only from the sound of their voices.
For some, the names jump out in a heartbeat.
For some, it takes a moment’s thought.
For some, it takes deep thought.
For a few, it escapes memory.
Many assume it is a judgment call on the boss and how well he knows his people, but it’s not. It is actually a clarion call for each teammate to get their voices heard.
If your signature is not recognizable without your name to those who matter to you, your name will soon not matter.

Life begins and ends for individuals but continues for humanity.
Its beginning brings joy, and its ending brings pain to individuals, but both are essential for humanity’s continuity.
The interpretation of good or bad is at the individual level.
At the group level, progress, or lack thereof, is the only judgment.
Harmony is achieved only when the individual does the good that leads to humanity’s progress.
Harmony births meaning.

If you consistently work at improving yourself, your space naturally filters out those who do not fit.

In the end, being loved by the people you love is the only real win.

Doubt is a measure of probability, not possibility.
Probability improves with effort.
Try, even when the odds are against you. Your action may be what is required to get even.

The algorithms started by observing our patterns, then they made suggestions based on our patterns, then they shaped our choices based on our patterns, now they enslave us based on our patterns.
Break the pattern.
Unplug from the matrix.

The most difficult aspect of writing is editing.
The difficulty lies not in the reading and grammar checks but in cutting out the bits the writer loves because they disrupt the flow.
No book ever reaches the reader as the writer wishes. It is the editor’s work that the reader reads.
I am finally editing my next book, “37,” and I am mourning treasured aspects that are being cut.
We move.
