In the dark

There is scarcely a darker time than when a soul encounters failure. Whether private or public, there is an undesirable “momentary” shadow that failure casts.
“What if this darkness is not the darkness of the tomb, but the darkness of the womb?” – Valarie Kaur
How we perceive the failures we encounter on our journey, determines our actions, inactions and ultimately, outcome.
Is this failure a darkness of the womb or of the tomb? The answer is in what you do during the phase.
One helps you grow, the other helps you swell.
One requires you to stay connected, the other has no strings attached.
One has an end, the other, only a beginning.
One has a welcome at the end, the other, a goodbye at the beginning.
One is flexible, the other is fixed.
One gives, the other takes.
Here’s the kicker, you remember none.
We are mostly in the dark when it comes to understanding the gift failure offers, but remember, there are always 2 choices – choose wisely.
