Try Consistency

Talk is mostly cheap, especially for the absent man. Most people that expect more from others, have not demanded more from self. We will be more reflective, if we only speak of things that our lives unmistakably reflect.

“Waste No More Time Arguing What A Good Man Should Be. Be One.” –  Marcus Aurelius

A mango tree produces mangoes. A citrus tree produces citruses.

There is no confusion as to the fruits of a tree. It produces what maintains its existence and that of its ecosystem.

The heart of man produces good and evil. The same tongue that praises God, vilifies His image and likeness. It is confusing to the spirit within, as the fruits are inconsistent.

Consistency therefore is not merely a matter of discipline, but a matter of life.

“Most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years.” – Bill Gates

Success does not come in spikes. Spikes are needle points that ultimately cause pain. Success is an everyday toil that shows no promise, until it delivers the promise. Therein lies the mystery of the overnight success.

Consistency is not monotonous. Input is not equal to output. Input compounds.

“Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it … he who doesn’t … pays it.” – Albert Einstein

Compounding is hinged on consistency. All greatness is. What cannot be defined, cannot be remembered.

The areas in life that consistency thrives, prospers. Try consistency.
