And he said, “Take heed that you are not led astray; for many will come in my name, saying, `I am he!’ and, `The time is at hand!’ Do not go after them.
Homily:
Ignore those who lay claim to being able to predict the future. Look to the past, and you will find many like them littered, more as jokers than as people to pay any mind.
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” – Matthew 24:36
Pay attention to the One who holds the future, and you will be sure-footed in it.
