Today, I had a good day.
There is nothing more energising than a yes. Nos are hard. Bouncing back from every No, might sound motivational, but Nos scratch away a part of us.
Most of us can only tell the story of our Nos when we get a Yes. That’s how powerful a Yes is. It brings meaning to everything else.
I got a yes from a top dog. A lot of positive feedback. No flattery. Just straight up commendation, with actionable feedback on how to finish strong.
Positive feedback is powerful. Every other thing I did today did not feel like work. The smile on my face could not be rubbed off.
I am thankful for positive feedback, and lifted spirits.
