Today, while having lunch, I had an unpleasant experience that totally ruined an otherwise fantastic meal.
I want almost at the end of my meal, when I chewed on sand, and I got an instant ring in my teeth that reverberated throughout my body.
I immediately stopped eating, grabbed a bottle of water, and made my way to the sink to rinse my mouth. That was the end of the meal.
I just walked away.
Life is like that. Just one event can define the entire journey.
Which is why integrity is so important. An alignment between your values, thoughts, words and actions. Integrity, like trust, is built over time, but destroyed in no time.
I am thankful for the role models of integrity in my life. Because of them, the harder choices are easier to make.
