I have started writing down the things in my life that do not require any form of motivation for me to do. I just do it.
Like brushing my teeth. It is something I do daily, without fail, no matter how I feel. I have a belief that mouth health is a principal indicator of body health, so I pay attention to it.
Or paying my tithe monthly. Tithing is aligned to my overall inclination to giving. I give because it helps me de-emphasise the lure of accumulation, and see money for what it is – an enabler of transactions, not a measure of life.
I am writing these things down because I want to find a pattern in the desirable things I do that come naturally to me.
