Today, in my usual dance with words, I explored synchronicity.
The deeper I dug into its origin and meaning, the more I was amazed at how a single word can hold so much.
Synchronicity as coined by Carl Jung is “the simultaneous occurrence of events which appear significantly related but have no discernible causal connection.”
Yes, even if you read that definition again, you would not get the full depth or breadth of its meaning.
In my current understanding, synchronicities are improbable chance occurrences that seem not to be as random as they present themselves. In lay man terms, they can be called coincidences that wake you up to pay attention.
They occur as a pull by the universe in the direction that is best fit for you.
I am thankful for the beauty in words.
