Revelations

Today, I got a call from someone that has been avoiding me for years.

I thought it was a mistake, but I was wrong.

He called back, and we had a long conversation on how our friendship had turned sour.

He lent money from me some years ago, and decided the best way to pay me back was to give a cold shoulder.

Money lending is always a seed that bears more strife than gratitude. I never lend out what I cannot afford to lose. I also never lend money to who I cannot afford to lose.

He was actually trying to reach me because he needed another loan. I was stunned. The audacity of people who behave poorly is legendary.

I am thankful for circumstances that reveal the heart of people.
