The most important unknowns

Today, I attended a training by a shopfloor teammate on “the most important unknowns.”

They are the most important people in our space that we often forget to connect with. Security guards, caterers, cleaners… The people we notice when they withdraw their service, yet ignore when they serve.

Understanding how important they are will make us care more for them and their well being. It starts with even knowing their names.

I am thankful for the important unknowns. The people that do thankless jobs with a smile.
