Today, I had to correct a friend that was being mean to a learner.

It is no surprise some learners do not put an “L” on their cars, for fear of being bullied on the road.

You would expect experienced drivers to be more empathetic towards learners, but no, we quickly forget that was once us.

The same applies in many other life scenarios.

We have little patience with beginners. Everyone is forced to act like they know what they are doing. Ultimately leading to avoidable accidents.

I am thankful for the beginners in many aspects of my life. For the courage they bring to the new endeavour daily. They force me to pay attention to areas I take for granted.
