Courage

Today, I learnt of some health challenges a relative is dealing with.

Everyone fights battles they are ashamed to speak of.

When you hear such stories, you wonder why they don’t speak up earlier. That is an insensitive question.

The real question is – “How do we make it easier for people to speak up about their battles?”

I need to check in on those in my care more. I need to be deliberate about it, and exclude all distractions during my time of engagement.

I am thankful for those who build the courage to speak up before it is too late.
