It starts with loving. Everything does.
Some call it puppy love. Others call it naivete.
No one can know all of you before they love you.
They first love you and then soak in all of you.
Love is required to make your parts whole.
As the whole is revealed, the parts get questioned.
Then life progresses to judging.
Judging is the messy middle.
The middle in which we are critical about everything.
It sometimes feels like love is lost, but it isn’t.
The middle feels like the end, but it never is.
It grows into understanding.
A place where the parts and the whole become one.
You are thankful for all your experiences and find their utility in different aspects of living.
Understanding is being just as grateful for valleys as you are for peaks.
A realisation that the desires not met are just as big a blessing as the ones that were fulfilled.
Wherever you are on your journey, keep going, until you reach understanding.
And then a new journey starts.
Cheers to the journey ahead.
